Circloscope is an excellent tool for increasing the number of people who circle you in Google Plus. The principle is similar to increasing your followers on Twitter. You just find a list of followers (Google Plus’ers) from a person you respect and then follow, follow, follow. Some of them will reciprocate and follow you back and voila, your following goes.
Circloscope applies this approach en masse for Google Plus. You find the profile of powerful Google Plus’ers, and then use the options on Circloscope to add the people in their circles to your circles.
The step-by-step approach works as follows: install the Circloscope program using your Google Plus URL as the home option, find powerful Google Plus’ers and copy their URLs. Then, click on dashboard and select “profiles” from the pull-down menu.
Select “profile circles (not in my circles).” This ensures you will capture only the people whom your respected user chooses to follow, as anyone can follow her/him. The program will return the number of people in your selected profile’s circles; you can just select the first 450 of them (Google Plus may reject your attempt to add 500 or more at the same time) and then select the “action” option in the top navigation bar. Just choose “add to my circles,” and you’re done.
You can either choose to add the new people to an existing circle or create a new one just for them so you can remember where you got them from.
It is important to note you can follow the same procedure described above for a Google Plus Business Page. Just make sure you change the page option in the upper right corner of the circloscope template to refer to your business page instead of your personal account (they are both automatically connected to each other).
